World Preclinical Congress 2017 Highlights

Dear Members of the World Preclinical Congress Community,

Thank you very much for taking the time to participate in World Preclinical Congress (WPC) in Boston last month! We were happy to host more than 1,000 attendees, speakers and sponsors over 5 days of the event. The exhibit hall featured 85 booths and more than 80 posters. It was a productive and fun week, and we are in full swing working on the 2018 event. We are looking forward to working for you and with you, and please share any additional feedback or suggestions with us.

Video Recap

Here’s what attendees, speakers and sponsors said about this year’s event:

Other exhibitors and attendees have great things to say about the meeting. The scientific content is superior and organization is unparalleled. Although we are generating fewer leads than at a society meeting, but we are meeting people from industry who can buy in bulk.
Director of Product Marketing, Miltenyi Biotec

Great floor layout, especially the walk-around setup and proximity to the poster sessions. This makes easy to engage with other participants and network.
Consultant, Kuraray

The attendees are very engaged with the technology companies - great interaction in the exhibit hall. The welcome ceremony, in particular, has been an exceptional networking break!
Director of Business Development, Mattek

Conference organization was excellent! Food and beverage choices during the reception were terrific! It's also nice that you had dessert on the exhibit hall for a couple breaks!
Director of Sales, Optribrium

The organization and venue was amazing. Quality of the talks were very good as well.
Director of Medicinal Chemistry, Selvita

Good conference with cross-therapeutic topics. Parallel sessions allowed you to choose the most interesting presentations.
Director of Pharmacology, Boehringer Ingelheim

The venue was well-suited and I had plenty of time to visit exhibits, which is not always possible at larger meetings.
VP of Preclinical Research, Vaccinex

Very nice meeting, will recommend to colleagues.
Temple University

Dr. Ingber was a spectacular keynote speaker and gave an inspiring presentation.
Senior R&D Scientist, MilliporeSigma

Keynote was valuable - it provided a broad overview of very new results and technology.
Investigator, GlaxoSmithKline

Great speakers! Also good to have academia + pharma combo. Great job organizing this meeting! Something like this next year (with different speakers) will be good!
Investigator, Novartis

WPC2017 was very nice. I could hear all kinds of hot topics and communicate with the other participants at interactive breakout discussions and coffee breaks.
Principal Scientist, Takeda

It was well organized and brought together a very good and prominent set of speakers representing pharma industry and academia.
Researcher, Uppsala University

The plenary keynote session was excellent – both speakers were outstanding.
